On behalf of our client, a well-established group that specializes in electronic engineering, we are looking for a Senior Photovoltaic System (Solar) Technician to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities 

• Responsible for the Supervision of assembling and installation of solar panels
• Configures PV systems based on site conditions and customers’ needs and expectations
• Inspects electrical installation and wiring
• Tests operating voltages; calibrates to ensure systems are within acceptable power limits
• Collaborates with associates to ensure that we meet customer expectations

Job Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of PV equipment and installation, electrical wiring and equipment
• Ability to read building plans, equipment manuals
• Ability to use hand and power tools to install PV panels
• Previous experience within the renewable energy industry will be considered an advantage
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean Criminal record

• Performs general electrical maintenance
• Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables
• Inspects transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components
• Manages the troubleshooting of electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
• Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them

Job Requirements

• Holder of Degree/Diploma in Electrician
• Previous working experience as Electrician/ Supervisor Electrician

Electrical Technician/Engineer

On behalf of our Client, Cyprus’s leading home and commercial technology integrator, we are looking for an Electrical Technician/Engineer to be based at their offices in Larnaca, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be trained to: 

• Perform construction and maintenance of both electrical and photovoltaic installations
• Manage and organize the installation and maintenance of both electrical and photovoltaic installations 
• Manage, organize, and implement security systems installation
• Review and understand business services, products, and features
• Participate in training courses for new business products and services
• Assist in any other related duties as assigned

Main Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Electrical Engineering will be considered an advantage but not mandatory
• Qualified member of ETEK 
• 2-3 years of previous working experience in a similar role
• Good knowledge of both Greek and English
• Certificate of Competency of an Electrical Engineer by The Department of Electrical and Mechanical Services, will be considered an advantage 
• License for Contracting Electrical Installations by The Department of Electrical and Mechanical Services
• Completion of Military Service obligations 
• Holder of a Driving License (Category “B”)
• Clean Criminal Record 
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
