On behalf of our client, a property management company, we are looking for an Accountant to be based in their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains the accuracy of financial records, including income, expenses, receivables, payables and banks
  • Performs reconciliations of financial transactions
  • Processes customers’ billings and collections
  • Participates in month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Assists in the coordination of audits and responds to audit inquiries as needed
  • Supports cross-functional teams by providing financial information and analysis for decision-making
  • Operates internal control processes relating to integrity of accounting data and application of operating policies

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in a similar position
  • LCCI Level 3 Higher accounting certificate is a plus
  • Prior Experience with QuickBooks accounting software is a plus
  • Knowledge of VAT, SDC & GESY is a plus
  • Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
