On behalf of our client, a leading audit firm, we are looking for an Accountant to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Requirements 

  • Manages the recording and filing of accounting records for local and international clients
  • Prepares Monthly payroll for clients
  • Arranges and submits Tax/SIC/VAT registration forms
  • Deals with VAT and VIES returns
  • Performs bank reconciliations and administration of accounts payables and receivables
  • Issues sale invoices and receipts
  • Handles correspondence with clients on issues related to accounting and administration
  • Assists in any other related duties as assigned

Main Requirements 

  • University degree in Accounting or any related field
  • Working experience in a similar position 
  • Fluency in both Greek and English, verbal and written, knowledge of Russian would be a significant advantage 
  • Proficient with Microsoft package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Team player with pleasant personality
  • Attention to detail and results oriented
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge in BTMS accounting software will be considered an advantage
