Architect

On behalf of our client, a broad-spectrum property management service provider, we are looking for an Architect to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and evaluates architectural drawings, technical submissions, material samples, and construction documentation prepared by design consultants to ensure alignment with the project brief, quality standards, and employer requirements
  • Coordinates and monitors the design development process across architectural, structural, MEP, and specialist disciplines to ensure design integration and consistency
  • Develops architectural drawings, technical details, presentations, models, and renderings as required to support design review, coordination, and project decision-making processes
  • Conducts regular site visits and inspections during construction phases to verify that works are implemented in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and design intent
  • Participates in design coordination meetings, progress meetings, and technical workshops with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of design and construction-related issues
  • Reviews consultant and contractor submissions for compliance with project specifications, local building regulations, zoning laws, fire safety requirements, planning regulations, and environmental standards
  • Coordinates with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, contractors, and authorities to support efficient project delivery and minimize design conflicts during construction
  • Supports the evaluation of proposed design changes, value engineering proposals, and technical solutions from consultants and contractors
  • Ensures all project activities comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including ETEK guidelines and local authority approvals
  • Stays informed on current architectural practices, construction methodologies, materials, and industry technologies to support project quality and efficiency

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Architecture
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant professional experience 
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, codes and construction practices
  • Fluency in Greek and English is essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD and BIM software
  • Experience in sustainable and green building is a plus
  • Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS or ETEK) is considered an advantage
