On behalf of our client, a broad-spectrum property management service provider, we are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees project scheduling, resource planning, and the budgeting process.
- Manages the project timetable and risk management plan register, providing regular reports to management on project status.
- Monitors key project indicators to ensure alignment with objectives.
- Administers building contracts, managing timeframes, payments, notifications, and practical completion procedures.
- Leads, motivates, and supports project teams to drive excellence and continuous improvement.
- Reviews and controls construction operation plans, coordinating with main contractors and consultants.
- Reviews and approves project variation order requests in collaboration with management.
- Defines client requirements related to design, cost, and timelines.
- Conducts regular key stage cost reviews to ensure financial goals are met.
- Manages the project timetable and maintains the risk register.
- Prepares and monitors key project performance indicators.
- Administers the main construction contract, ensuring compliance with time, payments, notifications, commercial, and practical completion procedures.
- Conducts regular site inspections to monitor progress and assess workmanship quality.
- Undertakes design rationalization, including value engineering and installation efficiency improvements.
- Performs formal drawing checks for main drawings prior to distribution.
- Secures design approval from clients at critical design stages.
- Manages the technical design process effectively.
- Issues regular progress reports to stakeholders.
- Attends weekly design team meetings and other required project-related meetings.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years directly related experience in an engineering/construction project accountability role.
- BSc in Engineering, Building Science or any other field is essential.
- Excellent knowledge and use of Greek and English language.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite/Autocad/Microsoft Project.
- Member of ETEK.
