Back Office Officer

On behalf of our client, a leading broker, we are looking for a Back Office Officer to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Performs daily monetary routines, including processing clients’ deposit and withdrawal requests, and regularly reconciles and updates records
  • Reviews and verifies client financial details and transaction records to ensure compliance with AML requirements
  • Conducts risk assessments of client monetary transactions to identify potential fraud or related issues and takes necessary action
  • Assists in maintaining smooth global operations of the team and actively participates in cross-department collaboration
  • Liaises with external money processors and banks to handle transaction issues and disputes
  • Implements Know Your Client (KYC) procedures effectively for all potential and existing clients
  • Works closely with the compliance and internal audit departments and prepares various regulatory reports related to back-office operations
  • Prepares daily reconciliation reports

Job Requirements: 

  • Degree or related qualification in Accounting/Finance will be considered an advantage
  • At least 1 year experience in financial services industry
  • Fluent in English. Any additional language will be considered an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and well versed in Excel and Word
  • Experience in client onboarding and payment processing
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Eager to learn about the financial markets, CFD industry, and the company’s trading platform
  • Willing to work on shifts
