On behalf of our client, a Financial Services provider, we are looking for a Banking Officer to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for opening the Corporate and Client Bank Accounts & EMIs, in Cyprus and Overseas.
- Responsible for the Bank reviews.
- Investigates new banking options.
- Processes and monitors the deposit failures and resolves any errors, maximizing the deposit approval rate.
- Assists the clients with their banking requests and liaises between clients and banks.
- Maintains the bank database.
- Manages banking relationships worldwide.
- Ensures that Payment Gateways are active and working properly.
- Forwards financial matters and requests to the Head of Department.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related fields, will be considered a plus
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role or onboarding-focused role within the financial services industry.
- Experience and knowledge of payment industry regulations, standards, and processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience working with Banks and EMIs and an understanding of industry trends and potential challenges.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in documentation and contract management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment..
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills.
