On behalf of Azimuth Radio Technologies, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to be based at our office in Cyprus, Greece or Germany.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identifies, develops, and manages strategic business opportunities within the maritime sector
- Establishes and maintains relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders in the global maritime industry
- Travels domestically and internationally to engage with clients, attend maritime trade shows, and explore new markets
- Collaborates with internal teams to create tailored proposals and solutions that address client needs and align with their operational goals
- Conducts in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the maritime industry
- Represents the company as a trusted partner and expert in the field
- Monitors and reports on business development activities, KPIs, and overall performance
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the maritime industry
- Deep understanding of the maritime sector, including its trends, challenges, and key players
- Strong networking skills and the ability to build relationships across diverse cultures and geographies
- A strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and craft actionable plans
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a knack for creating persuasive proposals and pitches
- Comfortable with regular travel to domestic and international locations
- Proficiency in CRM tools and business development software is a plus
- Fluent in English in both verbal and written form; Greek or German will be considered an advantage
