Business Development Officer – Working Abroad

On behalf of our client, a leading broker, we are looking for a Business Development Officer working abroad.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contributes to the implementation of the company’s market penetration and expansion strategy.
  • Keeps abreast of the latest developments, products, marketing updates, and relevant terms and conditions while positively communicating them to the target group.
  • Keeps up-to-date with market competition and industry-related news.
  • Ensures that a high level of service is provided and client inquiries are dealt with attentively.
  • Undertakes qualitative analysis of statistics to draw useful conclusions for the development of the business.
  • Performs market data analysis and reporting
  • Provides suggestions on system enhancements.
  • Ensures compliance with the company’s legal guidelines and compliance procedures
  • Always acts in the best interest of the company and cooperates with the rest of the team to contribute efficiently towards the growth and development of the business.
  • Contributes to team effort by reaching targets and cooperating effectively with other departments as necessary.
  • Supervises, monitors, and coaches the local team.
  • Spends significant time traveling abroad (up to 10 months per year).

Job Requirements

  • Degree in any business-related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position.
  • Experience within the financial services industry will be considered an advantage.
  • Fluency in both English and Greek with excellent oral and written skills.
  • Very good computer literacy.
  • Dynamic, innovative, and target-oriented.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, with integrity of character and strong business acumen.
  • Very good people management skills.
