On behalf of our client, a pioneering architectural firm, we are looking for a Civil Engineer to be based at their premises in Larnaca, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares structural studies and design calculations for reinforced concrete, steel, and foundation systems
- Develops structural models and performs analysis using BIM and specialized software such as CYPECAD and HOLOBIM
- Produces detailed structural drawings (formwork, reinforcement, sections, and details) using AutoCAD and BIM tools
- Designs structural systems in compliance with Eurocodes and local regulations
- Performs load calculations, structural analysis, and dimensioning of structural elements
- Prepares complete structural documentation for building permit applications
- Coordinates structural design with architectural and MEP disciplines to ensure full integration of the project
- Reviews and checks structural drawings, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and compliance with design intent
- Supports optimization of structural solutions for efficiency, cost, and buildability
- Provides technical support during construction, clarifying structural details and responding to site queries
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 2-3 years of experience in building design, supervision, or technical office work (internships also considered)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English
- Good command of AutoCAD; familiarity with BIM software such as HOLOBIM AND CYPECAD will be considered advantageous
- Eligible for ETEK registration (or already registered) will be considered advantageous
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and support senior engineers in technical coordination and project monitoring
