Civil Engineer

On behalf of our client, an established group of companies in real estate advisory and asset management, we are looking for a Civil Engineer to be based at their offices in Athens, Greece.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts technical studies
  • Monitors the legalization process of unauthorized constructions and uses in accordance with the applicable law and issuance of the Building Identification Number (ΗΤΚ)
  • Performs data analysis (maps, reports, designs, etc.)
  • Stays up to date with the process of legalizing assets, revising and verifying property titles
  • Provides advice and immediate resolution of problems and deficiencies.
  • Conducts due diligence and feasibility technical studies
  • Monitors the progress and status of ongoing projects
  • Supervises subcontractors and communicating with partners
  • Prepares files and overseeing tender processes
  • Ensures the smooth operation of projects and their completion within budget and on schedule

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering 
  • Proven work experience of at least two years in building permits, small-scale permits, energy certificates, legalization of unauthorized constructions (Law 4495/2017), property electronic IDs, and technical inspections.
  • Knowledge of Asset Legalization procedures and Building Codes (GOK/NOK)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Civil engineering license (TEE / Technical Chamber of Greece)
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English (spoken and written)
  • Proficient use of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
