Compliance Advisor

On behalf of our client, a specialized company for outsourced omnichannel customer support, experience, and complaint handling, we are looking for a Compliance Advisor to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administers, develops, reviews, implements, and effectively manages compliance programs, policies, procedures, and related operational documents in accordance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Establishes, reviews, and revises compliance manuals as assigned
  • Administers, drafts, and negotiates simple and/or complex contractual agreements
  • Reviews, reports, and provides advice on general compliance and regulatory corporate matters and/or issues in a detailed manner
  • Regularly audits and reports on the company’s procedures, practices, and documents to identify, troubleshoot, and/or escalate potential legal and compliance weaknesses or risks
  • Creates, handles, coordinates, supports, and provides effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations
  • Performs various general administrative duties 
  • Ensures all employees are aware of the latest regulations and processes, and collaborates closely with all related departments to maintain a culture of compliance across the company
  • Resolves employee concerns and queries, and provides information related to legal and compliance matters when necessary

Job Requirements

  • BSc/BA and/or MSc in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2 – 4 years’ proven experience in a similar Compliance Advisor role
  • Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards is highly preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of legal and compliance requirements, controls, practices, and procedures
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English
  • A great analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
