On behalf of our client, a cybersecurity company, we are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Administers, configures, and tunes NextGen Firewalls, EDR and IDS/IPS.
- Administers, configures, and tunes Web Filtering, Email Gateway, and VPN.
- Administers, configures, and tunes Servers and Endpoint Security (mainly Windows).
- Provides recommendations for solutions, products, and technologies to meet business objectives.
- Provides support and maintains the day-to-day operations of customers’ security infrastructure.
- Active Directory policies and fine tuning like associated roles (AD, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- Collaborates with partners and customers to deliver risk-based security improvements.
- Maintains updated documentation of customers’ security infrastructure.
Job Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Networking.
- At least 3 years of work experience as a Security Administrator or in a similar position, working with solutions and products in the field of IT Security.
- Understanding and hands-on experience regarding Cybersecurity trends, threats, procedures, mitigation techniques, and cybersecurity policy development and execution.
- Good knowledge of networking (VLAN, switches) and protocols.
- Sufficient knowledge of the latest Cyber Security and Cloud technologies.
- Excellent command of both Greek and English.
- Experience with Checkpoint, Fortinet, Cisco and Email Security Gateways will be considered an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with network and Email Security will be considered an advantage.
- Network Security certifications, such as Fortinet Network Security Certifications and Microsoft-related certifications, will be advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with people at all levels.
