On behalf of our client, an innovative Medical Center, we are looking for a Medicine Doctor to be based at their premises in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Employs the clinic’s established protocols for diagnosis and treatment.
- Assists in the development of new medical protocols to enhance patient care.
- Participates in training and educational events organized by the clinic.
- Maintains detailed records of patient appointments, including comments, tests, treatments prescribed, and test results.
- Prepares comprehensive medical reports for patient records and referral purposes.
- Diagnoses and treats acute illnesses such as bacterial and viral infections, as well as chronic diseases and conditions like hypertension, heart disease, and diabetes.
- Prescribes or administers medication, therapy, and specialized medical care to prevent or treat illness, disease, or injury.
- Explains procedures, discussing test results, and outlining prescribed treatments with patients in a clear and empathetic manner.
- Monitors patients’ conditions, progress and adjusts treatments as necessary.
- Provides patients with health and wellness advice, including guidance on diet, physical activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
- Conducts research into new medications, treatment methods, and procedures to advance medical knowledge and improve patient outcomes.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, physical sciences, or a related field.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of 3 to 7 years of internship and clinical residency training, specializing in internal medicine.
- Successful completion of the Internal Medicine Certification Examination.
- License by either the Greek or Cyprus Medical Board in internal medicine.
- Valid and active medical license.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathize with patients.
- Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.
- Proficient command of the English language.
