On behalf of our client, a fast-growing Information & Technology Solutions & Services provider we are looking for a IT Engineer to be based at their offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides technical support for IT equipment/networks
- Installs computer networks and troubleshooting software, IT systems, and telecommunications equipment issues
- Configures the peripherals and auxiliary machines (scanners, printers)
- Ensures the on-site repair of computer hardware and software
- Installs and configures the local and wireless network equipment
- Performs router configuration
- Installs and customizes of Windows
- Performs troubleshooting Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Resolves issues related to Active Directory accounts
- Installs software (antivirus, drivers, Acrobat Reader, internet browsers).
- Configures and manages Firewalls
- Manages central Datacenter equipment (servers, storage systems, security equipment, network equipment)
Job Requirements:
- At least a high school diploma
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or a related field
- Two years of post-graduate work experience in IT will be considered an advantage
- One year of cumulative exclusive experience with Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Products, or at least six (6) months of experience in network management (LAN/WAN), will be considered an advantage
- Fluent in both Greek and English
