Uniteam Marine is an international ship management organization that provides industry-leading services to ship owners and ship managers across a wide range of countries and jurisdictions.
With immediate effect, we are looking for a Junior Finance Officer to be based at our offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support to the Group Finance Director, preparing reports and correspondence with investors and ship owners;
- Assists the Group Finance Director in reviewing financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements;
- Assists in the preparation of financial budgets and forecasts for the business, monitoring actuals against budgets and providing regular updates to ensure financial stability;
- Maintains financial records and ensures compliance with accounting standards;
- Collaborates with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial data;
- Supports the finance team with data entry, invoicing, and other tasks as needed;
- Assists with the coordination of internal and external audits and other financial reviews;
- Manages and maintains financial databases and systems.
Job Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience will be considered as an advantage.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English;
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis;
- Experience with financial software and systems (SAP, Microsoft Power BI, and Excel).
