On behalf of our client, a world-class law firm, we are looking for a Litigation Lawyer (Civil & Tort) to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Drafts and executes legal documentation for court proceedings (Written submissions, Defenses, Objections, Notice of Appeals, etc.)
- Appears and represents clients before the District Court and Supreme Court of Cyprus and other public entities
- Liaises and negotiates for the benefit of clients with court and any other authorities
- Performs legal research and drafts legal opinions and/or civil and criminal law matters
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Law from a recognized University
- Member of the Cyprus Bar Association
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English language
- At least 2 years’ post qualification experience in Civil Law litigation
- Familiar with civil and criminal court rules and procedures
- Experience in Contract law and Insurance law will be seriously taken into account
- Strong computer literacy
