On behalf of our client, a specialized company for outsourced omnichannel customer support, experience, and complaint handling, we are looking for a Litigation Lawyer to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handles all aspects of litigation cases, including case assessment, strategy development, and legal research
- Represents the company in court, including trials, hearings, and depositions, and advocates on behalf of the company during settlement negotiations
- Conducts thorough legal research and drafts pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
- Manages the discovery process, including the preparation and review of documents, conducting depositions, and responding to discovery requests
- Prepares and files all necessary court documents in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintains regular communication with clients, keeping them informed of case status and developments
- Works closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case management and client satisfaction
- Ensures compliance with all legal standards and ethical obligations
Job Requirements:
- BSc/BA and/or MSc in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum experience of 4 years in litigation
- Admission to the state bar in good standing
- Strong knowledge of procedural and substantive law
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
- Superior oral advocacy and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw)
