On behalf of our client, an innovative law firm, we are looking for a Litigation Lawyer to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Conducts court appearances and hearings;
- Handles the E-Justice Platform;
- Supports and assists lawyers of the firm in their everyday court appearances and/or preparation of the cases;
- Drafts letters, pleadings, and legal opinions;
- Performs research of case law and statutes of Cyprus, UK, and EU legislation;
- Performs research and gives advice on various legal matters;
- Liaises with clients.
Job Requirements
- LLB (Bachelor of Laws) with a minimum grade of 2.1 (upper second) from a British university or equivalent;
- LL.M. (Master of Laws), Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC), or Legal Practice Course (LPC) will be considered an advantage.
- At least 3–4 years of post-qualification experience;
- Fluent knowledge of Greek and English, both written and oral; any additional language shall be considered an advantage;
- Excellent use of the E-Justice Platform and Microsoft Office Suite;
- Dynamic with a pleasant personality;
- Self-motivated and able to cooperate efficiently with co-workers.
