Payment Support Officer

On behalf of our client, a Financial Services provider, we are looking for a Payment Support Officer to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Communicates with banks and payment providers to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Monitors and responds to sales inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Clear and respond to emails, messages, and requests on time.
  • Assists in payment provider setups via the cashier.
  • Supports continuous improvement efforts and updates the internal knowledge base.
  • Reports issues and provides information to payment providers.
  • Ensures completion of assigned tasks within the business day.
  • Liaises with correspondent banks and third-party payment providers on any issues related to payments.

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related fields, will be considered a plus.
  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role or onboarding-focused role within the financial services industry.
  • Experience and knowledge of payment industry regulations, standards, and processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience working with PSPs and an understanding of industry trends and potential challenges.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in documentation and contract management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills.
