On behalf of our client, a property management company, we are looking for a Procurement Officer to be based in their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Actively searches for potential vendors
- Compares and evaluates offers from suppliers
- Negotiates contracts to secure advantageous terms
- Oversees the order lifecycle, from placement to delivery, ensuring timely receipt of products
- Enters order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
- Prepares reports on purchases and forwards them to the Operations and Design team for approval
- Maintains updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
- Facilitates the movement of goods from suppliers to the warehouse or direct project sites
- Addresses and resolves after-sales issues, managing warranty claims as necessary
- Processes payments
- Performs inventory control and maintenance of warehouse stock
- Coordinates with the warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
- Prepares weekly procurement reports to management
Job Requirements
- BSc in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field is a plus
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus
- Proven experience as a Procurement/ Purchasing Officer or similar role
- Proficient in vendor management and supply chain operations, preferably world wide
- Strong knowledge of Excel (google sheets)
- Negotiation skills
