Procurement Officer

On behalf of our client, a property management company, we are looking for a Procurement Officer to be based in their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Actively searches for potential vendors
  • Compares and evaluates offers from suppliers
  • Negotiates contracts to secure advantageous terms
  • Oversees the order lifecycle, from placement to delivery, ensuring timely receipt of products
  • Enters order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
  • Prepares reports on purchases and forwards them to the Operations and Design team for approval
  • Maintains updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
  • Facilitates the movement of goods from suppliers to the warehouse or direct project sites
  • Addresses and resolves after-sales issues, managing warranty claims as necessary
  • Processes payments 
  • Performs inventory control and maintenance of warehouse stock 
  • Coordinates with the warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
  • Prepares weekly procurement reports to management

Job Requirements

  • BSc in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field is a plus
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus
  • Proven experience as a Procurement/ Purchasing Officer or similar role
  • Proficient in vendor management and supply chain operations, preferably world wide
  • Strong knowledge of Excel (google sheets)
  • Negotiation skills
