Project Manager

On behalf of our client, a broad-spectrum property management service provider, we are looking for a Project Manager to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for project scheduling, resource planning and budgeting process.
  • Manages project timetable and risk management plan register – reports to the management on the project status.
  • Manages a team that strives for quality, safety, cost and schedules improvements at every opportunity with all delivery partners, challenging and seeking to improve the project deliverables.
  • Communicates with the management for administering building contracts in relation to time, payments, notification and practical completion procedures.
  • Reviews and controls construction operation plans, whilst coordinating main contractor consultants.
  • Reviews and approves in coordination with the management project variation order requests.
  • Determines client brief relating to design, cost and time.
  • Undertakes regular key stage cost reviews and manages project timetable and risk register.
  • Prepares and monitors project KPIs and conducts site inspections to monitor progress and workmanship quality.
  • Administrates main construction contract in relation to time, payments, notification, commercial and practical completion procedures.
  • Undertakes design rationalization which include value engineering and installation efficiency.
  • Performs a formal drawing check for main drawings prior to distribution.
  • Seeks design approval from client prior to critical design staged.
  • Manages technical design and issues regular progress reports.
  • Attends weekly design team meetings and other meetings where required. 

Job Requirements:

  • BSc in Engineering, Building Science or any other field is essential.
  • Minimum of 5 years directly related experience in an engineering/construction project accountability role.
  • Excellent knowledge and use of Greek and English language.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite/Autocad/Microsoft Project.
  • Member of ETEK.
