On behalf of a client, a marine technical navigation service provider, we are looking for a Senior Marine Service Engineer to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represents the company professionally in performance, attitude, quality, and customer service
- Executes all assigned service jobs accurately and on time
- Communicates with clients, agents, vessels, and manufacturers to ensure successful service delivery
- Coordinates and assigns on-site or remote engineers for confirmed requests
- Prepares jobs by arranging attendance, spare parts, and logistics
- Ensures documentation, materials, and service reports meet required standards
- Seeks technical advice when necessary, including from manufacturers
- Identifies training needs and supports skill development for self and team
- Adheres to company policies and best business practices
- Analyzes customer concerns and provides effective solutions
- Maintains tools and equipment safely and properly
- Supports lead generation to increase revenue
- Keeps technical bulletins, manuals, and critical information updated
- Monitors spare parts availability and forecasts needs to ensure first-time fix success
- Complies with export requirements
- Performs surveys, repairs, maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspections of equipment based on qualifications and experience
- Continuously develops technical skills in installation, repair, and maintenance
- Provides guidance on improving competencies for self and team
- Participates in daily operations, including preparing quotations and following corporate procedures
- Attends client meetings, networking events, and exhibitions
Job Requirements:
- University degree in Marine Engineering or other equivalent studies
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience and seagoing experience is preferred
- Excellent command of the English language
- Computer literate, e.g., Microsoft Outlook
- The position requires travelling
