On behalf of our client, a Financial Services provider, we are looking for a Settlements Officer to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs daily reconciliation of transactions between internal systems, PSPs, and banking partners.
- Monitors and processes the settlement collections, ensuring timely and accurate fund transfers.

Investigates and resolves settlement discrepancies, breaks, and unmatched transactions.

Liaises with PSPs, banks, and internal teams to resolve payment and settlement issues.
- Maintains accurate records of all settlement activities and ensures proper documentation.
- Assists in optimizing and improving settlement processes and workflows.
- Monitors transaction flows and flags any anomalies or potential risks.
- Manages the exposure with all the payment providers.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related fields will be considered a plus.
- 1–3 years of experience in settlements, reconciliation, payments operations, or a similar role within the financial services industry.
- Experience and knowledge of payment industry regulations, standards, and processes.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in documentation and contract management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills.
