On behalf of our client, a leading maritime satellite communications and technologies provider, we are looking for a Software Developer (PHP/Fullstack) to be based at their premises in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Joins a global team as an experienced Software Developer (PHP/Fullstack), contributing to the development and enhancement of satellite and internet services technology
- Develops and maintains software projects, ensuring adaptability, scalability, and efficiency
- Troubleshoots, debugs, and modifies software to improve performance and hardware compatibility
- Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams on system design, development, and ongoing maintenance
- Evaluates software–hardware interfaces and implements system improvements to enhance overall functionality
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, telecom, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in PHP programming
- In-depth full-stack knowledge including PHP 8.4, Laravel (v12), HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Docker, CI/CD
- Demonstrated proficiency in working with SQL databases
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a Software Developer role
- Fluent in English with good communication skills
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach.
- Can work independently according to a sprint goals
- Excellent collaboration and coordination skills across teams and departments
- Strong analytical skills and business understanding
- High ethical standards and professional integrity
