On behalf of our client, a company offering banking, legal counsel, and dealing support, we are looking for a Data Analyst to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborates with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights based on data analysis.
- Conducts in-depth analysis of large, complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights in collaboration with the rest of the team.
- Develops and maintains dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Works with different departments and develops new performance reports to optimize their daily job.
- Stays up-to-date with industry trends.
- Executes any other duties relevant to the role.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the forex industry.
- Excellent understanding of the SQL language.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong analytical and logical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate a significant amount of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to identify, extract, and manipulate data to highlight trends and deficiencies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
