On behalf of our client, a well-established ship management company, we are looking for an HR & Crewing Officer to be based at their offices, in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Manages the catering crew for the assigned fleet of Cruise passenger vessels
- Is the primary point of contact for Operations Manager, Crew members and Crew agencies
- Issues the work contracts and other working papers
- Organizes and ensures smooth start and end of the sailing season in cooperation with the HR/Crewing Manager and the Travel Department
- Performs mass crew embarkations, disembarkations, and Crew change operations
- Organizes and ensures smooth start and end of season in cooperation with HR Manager and HR Travel Coordinator
- Prepares the working schedules and expense reports for payroll purpose
Job Requirements
- A degree in HR, Hospitality or Catering Industry is preferred.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position would be considered an advantage
- Fluent in English, both verbally and written
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office
- Good communication skills and analytical thinking
