On behalf of our client, a leading network of accountancy and consulting firms, we are looking for a Semi Senior Auditor to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Understands client’s business
- Performs audit engagements of both local and international clients
- Plans, executes and successfully completes the audits in accordance with IFRSs and IASs
- Informs the AIC as soon as anticipates that the time budget allocated for the specific tasks is expected to be exceeded and proceeding accordingly based on the instructions of the AIC
- Executes and finalizes the audit work
- Responsible to ensure that all tasks assigned are complete and review points are cleared
- Responsible to complete the performance evaluation forms by self-assessment and arranging to discuss them with the reviewer
- Takes the role of AIC in simple audit engagements
- Communicates with clients while conducting the audit work
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or other relevant field
- Minimum 3 years of work experience as an auditor in an audit firm
- ACCA/ACA qualification or attending the final stages of the qualification
- Previous working experience with IFRSs and IASs
- Knowledge of CaseWare audit international methodology
- Excellent knowledge of Excel/Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English language
- Strong organizational, time management and teamwork skills
- Capable of working on own initiative
