On behalf of our client, a world-class law firm, we are looking for a Clients Bookkeeping Officer to be based in their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintains and updates clients’ accounting records with accuracy and efficiency.
- Supports external auditors during audit preparations and ensures compliance with financial regulations.
- Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to streamline client accounting processes.
- Prepares and submits VAT/VIES returns and other required tax declarations on behalf of clients.
- Assists in financial reporting and ensures the timely completion of all client-related accounting tasks.
- Responds to client inquiries, offers professional guidance, and maintains a client-first approach.
- Performs additional accounting-related duties as needed to support both clients and the team.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and/or LCCI Higher Certificate in Accounting (preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in client-focused accounting services.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with Intelisoft Aphrodite accounting software will be considered an advantage.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.
- Strong communication skills in Greek and English to ensure effective client interaction.
- A proactive approach with a customer-centric mindset, ensuring excellent service delivery.
