With immediate effect, we are looking for a Marine Travel Operator to be based at our office in Manila, Philippines.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Plans and manages travel requests, including booking flights, accommodation and transportation
- Investigate available flight connections as requested and select the most economical and time-efficient routing
- Ensures compliance with IATA requirements, travel policies, procedures, and data protection regulations
- Verifies received invoices and credit notes, clarifies all detected irregularities and forwards approved documents to Finance for the execution of respective payments
- Updates the crewing program with all details related to the travel request/invoicing – Using COMPAS
- Travel-related communication with external parties.
- Any other reasonable duties as defined by the role and management.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in IATA ticketing
- Good knowledge of Amadeus GDS
- Marine travel experience would be considered an advantage
- Knowledge of international travel regulations and visa requirements.
- Able to work in an AOH Rota
- Excellent command of the English language (oral and written)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- To be able to demonstrate problem-solving ability
- Cross-cultural sensitivity and ability to work within a multicultural team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
