On behalf of our client, a leading forex company, we are looking for a QA Engineer to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Understands and analyzes business requirements, features, and technical implementation.
- Creates and executes test cases and reports testing status to project teams in order to identify software problems.
- Works closely with the development team to analyze and resolve conflicts.
- Designs, develops, and executes automation scripts using testing tools.
- Raises and analyzes bugs and errors found during tests.
- Documents the results of tests for the software development team.
- Executes manual test cases in areas that cannot be automated.
- Performs regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Motivates the development process for efficiency and performance.
- Recommends improvements in software to enhance the user experience.
- Enhances software delivery and quality throughout the entire software development cycle.
- Post-production deployment validations.
- Stays up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance and test automation.
- Knowledge of and experience with QA methodologies.
- Experience in performance testing, integration testing and test automation (e.g, Selenium or similar) will be consider as an advantage.
- Practical software development experience on any programming language will be a strong plus.
- Experience in agile software development methodologies and testing procedures.
- Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
- Growth mindset, challenging status quo to find new solutions and out-of-the-box ideas.
- Self-motivated and self-managing, with excellent organizational skills.
- The ability to communicate complex procedures to other colleagues.
