On behalf of our client, a game development company, we are looking for a Payroll Accountant to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of accounting records, ensure they are up-to-date, including intangible assets accounting records
- Maintains and organizes company’s accounting documentation according to the internal and external (legal, audit) requirements
- Processes outgoing and incoming bank transfers and communicates with banks
- Responsible to issue company’s invoices
- Works closely with contractors for issues related to the maintenance of the accounting records, as well as reconciliation of payments
- Responsible for the preparation of monthly payroll
- Responsible for the calculation of bonuses and reimbursements to employees (business trip expenses, company-related and agreed expenses)
- Prepares and submits monthly payments of PAYE and social insurance contributions
- Works with benefits in kind and tax exemptions
- Responsible for the TD63 of the previous year
- Prepares monthly VIES and quarterly VAT reports for submission
- Maintains the records for IP box regime
- Responsible for the preparation of accounting file for auditors, together with supporting documentation
- Cooperates with company’s auditors and tax advisors during the accounting period
- Prepares the management accounts
- Any other tasks as specified by Management related to professional capacity
Job Requirements
- University degree in Accounting or Finance/or other relevant degree
- Knowledge of English and Russian language is a must
- At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in IT sector
- Knowledge of international accounting standards, Cyprus tax requirements, statutory laws and regulations
- You must have the right to legally reside and work in the republic of Cyprus or be an EU citizen
- Possibility to work 2 days per week in the office
