Accountant

On behalf of our client, a corporate solutions, financial and real estate investment company, we are looking for an Accountant to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and updates accounting records via accounting software
  • Manages accounting transactions
  • Performs bank and debtors/ creditors reconciliation
  • Prepares payroll and payments for Social Insurances/Tax departments
  • Issues of invoices to counterparties
  • Assists with TAX  / VAT  / VIES registration and submission, filing and all related tasks
  • Liaises with creditors and debtors
  • Liaises with auditors and other advisors

Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or any other related field
  • Minimum 3 years previous work experience in a similar position
  • Excellent command of Russian language, English and Greek language will be considered an advantage
  • Experienced with Microsoft office (excel, word, outlook etc.)
  • Good understanding and previous experience with Tax and VAT matters, will be considered an advantage
  • Time management skills, ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
