On behalf of our client, a leading travel agency, we are looking for an Accounting Officer, to be based in their offices in Limassol.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintains accounts payable records, ensuring timely payment of invoices
- Prepares weekly cash flow statement/forecast for outgoing payments
- Prepares suppliers’ reconciliation and liaises with them to resolve any discrepancies
- Prepares and maintains proper bank records for outgoing payments
- Prepares weekly/monthly reconciliations for bank accounts
- Maintains suppliers register and update it regularly
- Assists in issuing invoices to clients if required
- Assists in following up and monitoring of pending refunds due to clients
- Supports in budgeting and forecasting
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related fields
- 3 – 4 years of relevant work experience is preferred, but recent graduates are welcome to apply
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel
- Fluency in English and Greek is required (oral and written)
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail and critical thinking
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment
