On behalf of our Client, a leading maritime satellite communications and technologies provider, we are looking for a Maintenance Officer to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Conducts routine inspections of the company’s premises and the CEO residence to identify any maintenance needs
- Changes light bulbs, mend leaks, and takes care of small electrical and plumbing problems as part of normal maintenance.
- Keeps heating and cooling systems up to date and in operating condition by maintaining and repairing them.
- Inspects and maintains fire extinguishers and smoke detectors
- Reacts to all maintenance requests, whether planned and unplanned.
- Performs simple carpentry projects, such as window and door repairs.
- Ensures the security systems are operating properly.
- Performs safety inspections and keep emergency exits and fire alarms in working order.
- Maintains a tidy and orderly workspace and adhere to all safety measures.
- Maintains an inventory of the equipment, supplies, and tools needed for upkeep and repairs.
- Keeps records of all maintenance and repair work.
- Communicates repairs or projects that need outside contractors
Main Requirements
- High school certificate or its equivalent
- Experience in maintenance work, preferably in a similar setting.
- Strong understanding of plumbing, electrical, and heating and cooling systems in buildings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- A valid driver’s license.
